Brennan: A former 4-star general & colleague who worked directly for Trump called DT "most loathsome

individual I ever met."

That's paraphrasing John Brennan's tweet slightly to fit most of it in the subject line. Here's the tweet:

Last year, a former four star general & colleague who worked directly for Trump said to me, “Donald Trump is the most loathsome individual I ever met.”

Trump’s attitudes & behavior toward America’s heroes are repugnant.

Vote him out, resoundingly.

I trust The Atlantic, but the article is a compendium of stories from anonymous sources. We know Trump is loathsome, the most loathsome man, certainly, ever to hold the top office. But the accusations of disrespect for the military, the insult to all disabled vets, the figurative spitting on the graves of the dead will only gain traction among the Trumpian booboisie when actual people step forward to say they witnessed him saying it.

I understand the reluctance, the fear, of doing so. Maybe, if Biden is allowed to take office after his crushing defeat of Trump, maybe then these folks will feel free to come forward and tell all they know. My belief is that, if Trump actually leaves office, it will only be with a promise from Biden that he will not be prosecuted for his crimes against the American people and their constitution. So it may become very important, at that time, for the people who were there, who can testify publicly to his loathsome demeanor and cowardly remarks about America's wounded and fallen heroes, to speak out and ram whatever might be left of his reputation into the mud.

Pass over someone he just said is destroying our Democracy.

He will not interfere. That would be up to a whole new AG and Justice Department. Not to mention New York.

Joe Biden will be President at noon January 20, 2021, period. Trump will not be President. IF he tries something, then the Speaker will become President, which will almost 100% be Nancy Pelosi after the House convenes on January 3 and elects the new Speaker.

Why in the hell would Biden "cut a deal" with him???

The question is whether the transition will be (relatively) peaceful or full of violence in the streets and countryside. Trump is going to be offered a one time chance to stay out of Federal prison if he leaves willingly and without calling his psychotic base to arms. If he wants to stay and fight, he will be charged with treason and convicted. He won't be executed, much as I'd like to see that on live TV, but he would be placed in a max security prison, maybe the one in Florence, CO, where they put the other traitors. So Biden will have it in his power to give Trump a chance to retire to obscurity peacefully or to be combative and go to prison for the rest of his life.

I don't think the little Trumps and Trump's illegal DHS fascists, and Fatboy Barr, etc., etc., will get the same deal.

(And when Biden wins, he will be inaugurated, either in D.C. or in a bunker somewhere. If the latter, Trump;'s huge fat ass will be, as the kids say, grass.

Some rando who refuses to go on the record says Trump is the worst person in the world. Wow, thanks?

Many of these are people who'd risk their life for their country, but won't risk openly criticizing the most loathsome person they ever met.

Does not compute.

And go on record, or this will all be seen as the same old political stuff. There is no reason, at this point, for anyone to pretend they have to stay anonymous. We need a mountain of military brass saying "this man is unfit and can't be re-elected".
