Its been said before on DU, but I like the idea of creating an investigative panel of numerous criminal investigators with the sole purpose of bringing indictments to the Trump family of criminals. A large panel of numerous special prosecutors, because it will take an army of prosecutors to fully uncover the crimes of one of human history's most notorious criminal elected officials ever.

8. What you are describing is an Independent (Not Special like Meuller) Prosecutor

Congress must pass, and Biden must sign, legislation renewing the Independent Prosecutor law. IP’s have more autonomy and authority than Meuller style Special Prosecutors. Their work could last beyond Biden’s presidency if necessary, and couldn’t be limited or terminated by an unfriendly AG.

One minor quibble: you said Biden’s presidency would be a success with just this one act; IMO, it would be a failure without it, regardless of any other successes. To prevent a recurrence of the chaos Trump has wrought and protect the constitution and the rule of law, a Nuremberg style prosecution of the Trump cabal must be convened.
