It was "Who were the good guys in that war?" That's pure Fred Trump. Donald learned it at his father's knee. Anybody could attribute "suckers and losers" to Trump, since everyone knows that's how he talks. Far stranger but completely believable is Fred Trump's belief that the Germans were perhaps correct in WWI, and that the lines were not clear cut. Trump's not sophisticated enough for that; he heard it from his father, for years and years. It's the part that makes the whole ring true.
