1.4 million jobs added. HOWEVER...

The headline is the economy added 1.4 million new jobs in August.

However, one in six of those jobs added were from the hiring of 238,000 temporary 2020 Census workers.

The number of permanent job losses increased to 3.4 million.

I'd say the Census *does* account for lots of those jobs!
