He's one of the most well thought-out speakers I've heard in quite some time. He has great arguments and phrases them well. He's really got something. What he lacks is experience. I think if he can get some big-time experience (maybe as the Governor of Indiana or in some higher office), he will be a major force in the Democratic Party in the coming years. I saw him win over some of the biggest right-wing homophobes I know, who all agreed that he was brilliantly smart and made them think about things in a way they never had before. When I saw that happen, I knew he had something. Now let's get him some experience.

Army Intelligence, active service, the logistical and executive experience of being mayor - slam dunk.

I didn't feel like he was ready to be president this time, but I think he really is a brilliant and capable guy whose values are in the right place. I hope he just keeps on getting better. It looks like he will.

He was quite impressive here and I think he will only get better over the years. Just give him time, and he will be a superstar.

Propagandists armed with only lies should never go up on the air against intelligent people armed with facts. The best they can hope for is to lose gracefully, and being Fox, the more likely outcome is that they get their asses handed to them.
