Admittedly I live in a very blue state. (Connecticut). Like many states there are areas that are generally considered Republican. Typically they are in the very well-to-do areas in this New York City bedroom community.
I drive to work through some of these well-to-do areas and work in Ridgefield Connecticut. I see signs for both parties for state representative and other political offices. On my whole ride to work I have yet to see a tRump road sign. They are not found. Even where are there are GOP signs for down party candidates. Mile after mile it's all Biden and Harris. I hope this is a sign of the times.

(6,797 posts)Yesterday we went to my husband's aunt's funeral in a very small town near Findlay. The main street was lined with Trump signs. They were everywhere. Coming home we drove past his cousins house and Danny if he didn't have a Trump flag draped across the front of his porch. Shit!

(7,510 posts)If Connecticut were anywhere near close, Trump would be winning a landslide across the country.

(13,036 posts)A deep red state but no 45 signs. I recall this time in 2016 they were all over the place.

(2,590 posts)We live near Branson Mo., close to the Arkansas line.
On the way to Branson from our house there are many Trump signs.
We were in Springfield yesterday and a popup store was offering unofficial Trump shirts, hats etc.

(7,220 posts)Rump signs aplenty in 2016, zilch now. Are they all lost in the mail?

(12,372 posts)Lots of B.L.M. signs all over the place.
I think its more that people here don't care about signs. No one is gonna vote for someone because they saw a sign on my lawn.

(2,186 posts)I ordered from Team Joe online on Aug. 12 and still haven't gotten them. I emailed the Delaware Democratic Party and no one has responded yet. I'm going to go over there next week. I want my Biden-Harris signs & stickers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(5,007 posts)as leaving the distribution center an hour from my house last night. So I should get it today or Tuesday. USPS just delivered my Amazon mail. Hope my Biden sign is with the regular mail.
I have not noticed any signs in my area except for Congresswoman Elaine Luria.

(2,186 posts)And I live in Delaware, so if they needed to fill orders in Florida, PA, WI, MN, etc. I'm OK with that.
SIDE NOTE: On the way to the beach I saw big hand-made sign for Trump that said "Mr.Trump" in huge letters with "Thank You" under it. I immediately thought it would be a shame if someone were to write "Fuck" over the "Thank"

And that's what Caligula's campaign is banking on.

(2,312 posts)SW Wisconsin can be a mixed bag, and that's where I've been recently. I live in eastern Iowa, and the countryside is awash in Trump flags, though both NE and SE Iowa are represented by Democrats in the House.

(16,089 posts)but still down-ticket signs.
jayschool2013
(2,312 posts)at least in the big ticket race. We need to re-elect Abby Finkenauer and Cindy Axne to the U.S. House in Iowa (IA-2 is a Dem lock), and replace Ernst with Greenfield in the U.S. Senate. Fingers crossed.

(36,745 posts)Very few if any Dump signs in my suburban area of Detroit.
One person has this large a Dump sign a few miles from me and its already been defaced.

(6,911 posts)I ordered a Trump yard sign yesterday, responding to a spam email sent to me by Republicans.
I intend to make them waste time, money, and effort. When its delivered, Ill throw it away and request another one be delivered and lament how it was stolen.
Rinse and repeat. LOL

(236 posts)And maybe burn it a bit to show some well deserved lack of respect. I bet some creative types could make trump signs into some really cool anti trump art installations. Ive never thought about that before this election. In my sort of small town neighborhood, one would most likely be labeled a weirdo, but were already there with our yard - no grass, all flowers and native plants, and rocks (some big ones that I scavenged from nearby street rebuilding with a Bobcat).

(2,312 posts)Of course, you'll become a Kimberly Guilfoyle anecdote.
"Let me tell you the story of Roy, a poor soul in the hinterlands who has had to replace their Caligula-Nero ... I mean, Trump-Pence sign 50 times just in the last two weeks. The Democrat anger at our pee-resident is just off the charts. AAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!"

(9,067 posts)usually this is a red area, and we have been walking a lot. There is literally a dead-even tie for Biden signs and MF45 signs now.
Polls and registrations show a slight edge for Biden/Harris, but they cheat so much in Florida it will have to be a bigger margin for a Democratic win.

(67,782 posts)....are on people's lawns.
But around here all we see so far have been local republican signs - we have an unwritten agreement to not put up signs until Labor Day. Democrats have observed that, republicans haven't. That will change in a couple of days. I have my two signs in the garage ready to be planted on Monday.

(131 posts)I think people are afraid to put out Biden signs. The Trumpers are SO over the top, it worries you what they'd do to you.
I had my magnetic Biden sign on my new car, and I took it off. Sad to say, I don't want my new car keyed.
It drives me nuts. I had to drive behind "Lock Her Up" bumper stickers for years and only gritted my teeth. Did I do things to their cars? No. But the same can't be said for the rabid Trumpers out there.

(236 posts)I have a Biden sign in my yard, and a big Black Lives Matter flag by my front door, but Im afraid to put anything on my car. However, though Im not out much, my small town appears pretty civilized so far during this trump v.s. no trump civil war - Minnesota Nice (or Minnesota Passive Aggressive).

(11,451 posts)Mostly Trump signs a few Biden. About a mile from where I live on my neighborhood dog walk there is a house with rainbow flag owned by 2 women, I have seen them as I pass by told them I liked their new landscaping. When we could first put out signs, (in Oregon you can only put up signs 3 months before election) the women put out two Trump signs with tiny American flags attached with the signs crossed out. First I noticed one sign gone, then on my last walk few days ago I noticed they had no signs.
I think the conservatives in my state are angry because they have to put up with rules they don't like. Too bad, they can move.

(3,623 posts)We didn't display a sign in '16 and I thought the "Person, Woman, Man, Vote, Biden" sign was hysterical and would look nice on the lawn. But, she was totally against it. Her argument was that several of our neighbors are closeted MF45 supporters (the odds of that being true are good in our neck of the woods) and we would face some wrath for displaying such a sign, ranging from the sign being destroyed/stolen, to trash being dumped in our yard, to our house being vandalized. Hard to argue with her on that count, I'd anticipate the same.

(19,038 posts)So I didnt see signs 4 years ago. Biden must have delivered signs yesterday as the next 4 houses all now have Biden signs to complement mine. 5 of us in a row on a cul de sac. And I know the guy across the street from me is a Dem, so it will be most of our block if he gets his sign out.
0 Trump signs in my subdivision. None!
I live in an upper middle class neighborhood in very Conservative West Michigan.
PutGramaOnThePhone
(236 posts)At risk of stereotyping, no trump signs seems a bit out of character for what Im picturing as your neighborhood.

(19,038 posts)But my neighborhood is mostly college grads. Theres more of a blue collar neighborhood adjacent to it that has some Trump signs, but even those are outnumbered.
PutGramaOnThePhone
(236 posts)I guess the polls are saying that some college grads that voted for trump in 2016 are turning against him. In my my first job out of college - a time when I did bring up politics a bit - my small team in the IT department was three for Reagan, against me, for Mondale. We were in Iowa, but 3 of us were from Minnesota. I was just completely - I suppose naively - dismayed. I dont have a good recollection, but I suppose it was the Economy, taxes, two of them being self-proclaimed Christians, and one being from a family that owned an insurance agency in a small town, that explained it. Im just a natural born democrat.

(17,911 posts)There are a very small number of Donnie signs, flags, etc. Most I see are in front of run down houses and mobile homes. Go figure. Across the lake in upstate NY is a whole different story. Lots of them over there + Donnie cock holster, Elise Stefanick signs. I hate that woman. I truly do. If there is a just god, Tedra Cobb will crush her, but I kind of doubt it. Thus, the stark red / blue line will probably continue to run down the middle of Lake Champlain.
