(8,090 posts)The additional 4% must be from the dumbasses who consider themselves "independents." Or maybe just Q loons on the rise...

They are unbelievable fucking morons. Anybody at this stage who falls for trumps bullshit are imbeciles just like him. Hes a ConMan liar and cheat who is woefully incompetent. You really dont have to think any further than that to disregard this person of having any substance or integrity.

(32,264 posts)what they hear is what they want to believe. Most of them don't understand the issues and a majority don't want those issues explained.
It's known as willful ignorance.

(3,319 posts)One has to wonder who the Pew Research people talked to in their survey of national reactions. Perhaps they chose randomly, but only from among Americans actually in their backyard pool at the time. Or people wearing hats. If that includes red baseball caps, theres your answer.
No matter how miserable Americans get, they still think they surpass everyone else. This is American exceptionalism quantified. Whereas Canadians dont expect happiness, not really, although they certainly welcome its visits.

(6,355 posts)go down to her beautiful bayside home this weekend with my wife and kids. Their home is beautiful and my brother-in-law just bought a brand new $600,000 Cigarette boat. While in the car on the way to her home, we received a call from my daughter who is already there and said my niece, a school teacher, just received a call from her school that she had been exposed to someone with the virus during teacher orientation. The school pushed back opening and now my niece and daughter had to go get tested this morning for the virus. My wife and I turned the car around a drove back. A lot of support for Benedict Donald down the South Jersey shore. This is Jeff Van Drew's congressional district, you know the coward who flipped to the Republican Party. It's a very Red district formerly occupied by Frank Lobiondo (R) for years and one of the few reasonable R's left. Van Drew flipped the District from R to D running as a D then betrays his district. A real piece of shit.

(13,630 posts)As for me, my son and I are perfectly happy with the 22 year old boat we split the cost of which I've fixed up.

(9,186 posts)...he saw my Biden sign and told me that he couldn't vote for Biden because Biden was "controlled"?! No word on "who" is controlling Biden. He doesn't like MF45, but thinks that the virus is the fault of the Democrats! He is glad to work outside because he hates to wear a mask. He even quit going to Walmart because they made him wear a mask.
I'm afraid there is no hope of changing the minds of the uniformed at this point.
We can only try to get the majority to vote, and count the votes.
(At least he fixed the roof.)
