Fox Is So Rattled By Trump Military Story That It Confirms, Debunks, Then Reconfirms It

Fox News was so flustered by The Atlantic article on insults by President Donald Trump against military service members that it initially didn’t know where to land on the report.

It attacked the article, then eventually confirmed it. Then it bashed it again soon afterward — before reconfirming it.

After the media widely reported on [Jennifer] Griffin’s tweets, declaring that Fox News had confirmed the report, Fox News host Greg Gutfeld on “The Five” bashed the “debunked” and “outrageous” report as a “scam” and a “hoax.” No one on the program cited the findings of their own Pentagon reporter.

Despite the waffling, by late Friday evening Fox News seemed to be sticking to its position that the Atlantic article was essentially true.

The link from yahoo refers to Huffpost and contains multiple Tweets from Fox security consultant Jennifer Griffin confirming the "loser" and "sucker" labels Trump used against our military.

When Fox cannot spin and deny the latest lies and scandals in Trump world, you know that what the MSM is reporting is true and the sources have been confirmed.

There is NO ROOM for what Trump has said about fallen and injured soldiers who gave so much to this country. For no other reason -- and there are TONS of those other reasons that are righteous to the max -- Trump NEEDS to be defeated in November.

At times I wonder if there are republicans going around everywhere to make sure any tv seen by the public has to have Fox News on it and the volume is turned up.

Which makes me NOT have any need or desire to ever return there again, because I refuse to ever accept it as a credible news channel and only view it as Republican lies and propaganda that is heavily influenced by Soviet Russia.

It sends thousands of codes for various TVs in sequence and you can change the channel.

Once I changed all the TVs in One terminal at the airport to MSNBC.

They are all usually the same brand. So once you fix one, the other ones respond to the same code.

3. Trump has called for Jennifer Griffin to be fired

Fox knows that Trump is toast and will lose to Biden and take down a lot of GOP senators too. I'm wondering if Fox is positioning itself to be a GOP advocate post-Trump. I think Fox will find some mid-40 to mid-50 "young" GOP politicians to start championing the rebuilding of the GOP. There must be more than few, who are power-hungry to rush in and fill the hole left by Trump.

If Fox supports Trump on the military outrage, they will lose their audience. They have to dump Trump to keep the audience -- where the moullah is.

I won't be surprised if post-Trump, Hannity, Tucker and other pro-Trump personalities are replaced pronto.
