I’d like to add: don’t be fooled. Republicans always have more money than Democrats for most things. But there is lot of money on the left, it just all gets funneled into high profile campaigns. Hillary raised about $1B and so will Biden.

If only we could take just $100M of that and direct it to Democratic institution-building. Instead, Biden will be flush now and next year DC statehood and judicial reform and anti-Fox and anti-Facebook efforts will starve. Dems need to build institutions.

Going dark and pulling ads in specific states also means the assessment been made to give up in Michigan and give up in Arizona. Nobody considers Virginia a battleground state, its solid blue. Wisconsin is close to being a biden sure pickup as well. If we see Biden getting 52-54% in polling in PA, that may be gone as well. 2020 will be a wave election year and a wave can bring 3 or 4 states over to Biden, If trump/gop is forced to spend 10's of millions in TEXAS, that kills them elsewhere and why democrats have to up and running to win in all 50 states
