I have never had one sink.

Then again, when a storm blows up, I don't take the boat out, especially when there are dozens of larger boats beating up big wakes.

It was fun, and it was some really-fast sailing, but my crewmate (a big guy) and I were leaning heavily to windward just to keep the boat upright. We didn’t capsize, but we had to select an alternate port for mooring that evening.

I was about 18 at the time. In retrospect, that was pretty reckless.

I don’t think we were wearing life-vests, either, but, to our credit, we were both capable seamen, and we weren’t drunk ... yet.

There she is—just a little sloop, but remarkably seaworthy.

That’s really only one of two times that I can recall being frightened on the water. The other time, I and three others capsized in a speed boat in Sapelo Sound (Georgia coast). I was wearing a life jacket, and I was fine. The water was warm, and we were rescued in a couple of hours, but your point is well-taken. Survival definitely makes the story sweeter.

yet more evidence of the disaster to visit trump and the thrashing he's about to receive in Nov. 2020? I suspect so...

Biden is easily holding his own against the POS in the WH, and I expected Biden to continue to do so, he's proven himself in the 8 years under Barak Obama.

A spokesperson for Antifa-BLM took credit for the action, citing the work of a combined Antifa-BLM submarine task force.

that can keep getting stronger. Experienced something like it with just a few boats. Boats were gone and the waves kept getting stronger. Not fun if you’re in a kayak.
