Really interesting Interview with Miles Taylor Worked with trump Homeland Security Now RVAT:

?s=20

He confirms The Atlantic story. He says he has heard trump say things like that or worse. I don't know why he won't be specific. He says he will be saying more in the coming weeks. He says a lot of people working with trump feel like he does. It's fascinating he was proud to work with Cheney in homeland security. But, he also really respects Biden because he worked with him too and states he disagrees with Biden on 80% of policy. But, says we need Biden now.

If that link doesn't work try this one:

borders to all asylum seekers. They told him it was illegal and he said "don't worry I will pardon you". Miles was talking about how that was so much different than the Reagan philosophy of welcoming asylum seekers. He also says that he and a lot of others stayed on as long as they did because they knew the people who were going to replace them were so much worse.

It is interesting to hear anti trump voices that are outside of our liberal groups just to open our minds a bit I think is worth it.

I agree with your point about listening to some of the saner conservatives. They aren’t all slobbering idiots. When he said he loved Ayn Rand, though, I almost spit out my mouthful! I actually liked Atlas Shrugged...when I was about 16. I grew out of it.

My husband is a moderate fiscal conservative and social liberal who has been really reluctant to quit the Republican party, although he hasn’t voted for a Republican since he went for Obama in 2012. He loathes Trump and yells about the cowardly Repubs in government right now.

I’m a screaming lefty and have been since my teen years. We have, uhm, ‘interesting’ political discussions.

We both have close family who have gone MAGA pretty hard, though, it hurts.
