16. Definitely red. I love this ad but Phil Ehr has no chance.

It's a R+22 on the Cook Report. It's one of the most Republican districts in the country. Trump won this district 68-28 over Clinton. Romney won it 69-31 over Obama and McCain won it 67-32 over Obama in 2008. The last time a GOP presidential nominee got less than 60% of the vote was Dole in 1996 ... and even then he still got 59%.

Don't forget this is Joe Scarborough's old district.

And in 2018, a Democratic wave year, Gaetz won reelection with 67% of the vote.

I hate to be the downer here but no Democrat should expect this seat to flip. That'd be tantamount to thinking Nancy Pelosi will lose her seat.

What on earth is wrong with people?

Gaetz is the smarmiest, most odious person I have ever seen in my life (aside from Trump). How can people not see that? How can they look at this pig and his behavior and approve of him and his opinions? This is the kind of thing that makes me frightened of my own countrymen and women.

The Florida Panhandle is pretty conservative and the Pensacola area has a long association with the military. There are a lot of retired military folks living there.

is because it’s also very military. There are several bases so there’s a lot of retired military living there. Twitler dumping all over the military could be the boost Ehr needs to win.
