2. I have 193K too, but the interesting thing is that it was 163K a month ago.

By election day it will be around 260,000 dead.

And it has largely dropped off the front page.

3. I have a co-worker who thinks this is okay...

Only 190K+ deaths. He was ranting about how as a percentage of the population, it's nothing.

MAGAt, of course.

I'd call him when it gets bad, if only I knew what his cut off for 'bad' is. Probably, when he or someone he cares about gets it and/or dies. But, then, it'll undoubtedly be some Democrat's fault.

4. Does he actually accept that number as real?

Recently, many MAGAts have been claiming that the real number of Covid-19 dead is around 10,000.

5. Yes, surprisingly enough, he does.

He still vehemently maintains it's a drop in the population bucket.

Never mind it's slightly (until next week) less American deaths than in the WWI, Vietnam, and Korean Wars combined. (@ 210K estimated)

6. Looks like we getting 1 million cases every 2 - 3 weeks. I don't see how that's getting better on CV

.. CV19, looks like we're getting worse overall
