Never go there without a guaranteed exit within a prescribed time frame.
I am reduced to mumbling, "fucking idiots" for majority of my time there. I wouldn't go at all if much of my family didn't live there.

11. Oh, I've done far more than merely visit.

I was conceived in that state, lived, worked and voted there for years, drove semis all over the state and can't get lost in any of the major cities in the state. I just don't care for the social climate and overcrowding, nice real estate. I've only been in a visiting only status since I moved to the northern Rockies a few decades ago. High elevation and small population is all I can handle anymore.
