Many mail in ballots will not be counted

Last edited Mon Sep 7, 2020, 02:18 PM - Edit history (1)

DeJoy has already done enough damage to the post Office to make sure of that. And he continues to fuck things up even more there. It will not be fixed by election day.
So the real battle is to get an overwhelming majority in the Swing States. So that even when Trump has the DHS goons take ballots off of mail trucks and burn them, he still can't overcome the vote against him.

What a sad state of affairs when the President is openly trying to steal an election and his party and the Press normalize it.

And we are already facing this.

Call them fraudulent enables him to move aggressively to stop them from being counted.
Do not underestimate what he is capable of.

By just over 10,000. Make sure a few more never get counted, from the right precincts, and you win the State.

Because of the delays in mail delivery and we know that rural areas tend to support Trump.

I don't think many people are eager to vote in person during a pandemic.

The Democrats and Pelosi wanted to desperately shore up mail in voting because of COVID. Trump, DeJoy, Barr and the GOP are doing everything they can to discredit it and stop it.
Yes about Rural voters normally. But now you have the President targeting where the votes will be delayed.

Even my state now has one per county.
Dropping ballot in a drop box would avoid having a ballot delayed when going back. Of course it still has to arrive to you first.

But most people just want to vote and be done. They don't have the time or where with all to go the extra mile.
Making it harder to vote is the GOP game.

why mail in voting is so important. It should be unassailable. But Trump is trying to screw it up.

Rental trucks are inconspicuous enough compared to a truck with the USPS logo.
Trump will lose this election if left to only legal means but will do anything to stay in power at this point.

Events such as this with truckloads of mail goes a long way to undermine confidence in the system. Exactly what Trump, et al are pushing for to make the election results questionable.

that has excellent early voting. I had originally thought I'd do vote by mail, but no. I'm going to do it in person early. If I get to a polling place and there's a line I'm not comfortable with, I'll just return later. I'll start on the first day of early voting so I have lots of time to make sure I can vote safely.

I'm in New Mexico.

I live in walking distance of the county courthouse, so I’ve decided to vote early, in person. The mail stopped being sorted Locally several years ago, so that it takes about 3 days to deliver mail to a place a half-mile away.

Unfortunately, Polls show Trump in the lead, albeit smaller than 4 Years ago. Senate and House races have somewhat better chances of turning blue.
