It's a damn shame to have to say it but I would say over 65% of Teamsters are so brainwashed they vote Republican , hell the Assistant Job stewards at my job will argue with you till you're blue in the face and Tell you trump is their guy and the rethugs are all pro Union.
I have told them over and over that They are chickens voting for colonel sanders.
Faux noise is to blame and total ignorance.
Majority of the misguided teamsters are white guys, and I'm white but damn sure don't understand it.
Unions don't push or encourage voting one way or the other and its damn shameful.

7. I worked in a steel mill and belonged to the USWA. The unions

were so successful in getting workers good wages, healthcare and pensions it turned them into selfish Republicans. Then
after NAFTA was passed to destroy Unions with Republican votes the Democrats got the all blame because Clinton signed it. Now all the retired or out of work Union people vote Republican. Its our own damn fault.

12. Brings up my annual battle with TCM re: ignoring Labor Day.

They need to be put to shame for not honoring this holiday like military holidays.

14. I remember

Reagan shutting down the Air Traffic Controllers. The rank n file wanted a nation wide show of solidarity but the call never came. We never gave them the basic “one for all, all for one” and we’ve paid for that ever since.
