I'm not so sure anymore that he did not commit suicide?
He played with his teeth, behind his back, humped the large amp, then set his guitar on fire. His fans came to expect it.

besides being a guitar god. Got to see him live twice before his death. I dont think he actually used his teeth. A friend I was with the first time I saw him, who was a decent guitarist himself, said he thought he was just playing the frets with his left hand. I dunno.
