In 1932 I had many friends who didnt care for the Nazis, but had been disappointed in the Social Democratic Party for so long they simply didnt vote. And a few I knew voted for Hitler with a smile, wollte die Dinge aufrüttel, to shake the system. Those were their last votes.

Nazis seem so well connected to the higher echelons of the industrial, commercial, and political systems. A lot of people think they should be given the chance and handed the powers to run the government. What could possibly go wrong ?
