Living along the shore of both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans... if I ever saw a wave that tall, I'd probably still be in shock.

The Nazare undersea canyon is shaped and positioned perfectly to cause constructive interference in ocean waves, effectively stacking them into monsters. Coastal waves like that can't really occur anywhere else in the world.

115 feet is almost 50 percent higher.
