7. We were in NYC at end of July/beginning of August and walked all over at night.

We even walked through Central Park (daytime) and observed a BLM group gathering. All young and attractive people. The scariest part of our trip was getting on the hotel elevator from our room on the 9th floor and it stopping at the 7th floor where an unmasked, shady looking white guy got on. He broke 2 rules: no more than 2 unrelated people on elevator at a time and WEAR A MASK in all common areas!
