In Trump's adolescent mind, Obama was the cool kid at school. He was intelligent, personable, handsome, accomplished, and athletic. Obama could get up in front of an audience and break into song or effortlessly shoot a 3-point basket. Few presidents could deliver a punchline to a joke like Obama and damn it, people genuinely like the guy. Of course, the worst was when Trump was the punchline to the joke.

I've noticed this jealousy among a lot of republican men, the ones who probably had a hard time getting a date in high school. They still harbor a resentment toward the "cool kids" and they overcompensate by accruing money and power, but still in the end, they'll never be quite good enough. In their minds, they are still "losers".

Republicans are obnoxious winners and truly poor losers.
