MeidasTouch ad of trump tape w/Woodward. Admits it's not just older people. admits he played it downLink to tweet Trump admitted on tape to Bob Woodward that he played down the threat of coronavirus. Share this far and wide. #TrumpKnew
"I wanted to always play it down. I still like playing it down. Because I don't want to create a panic." Uhh....panic? It was already spreading to multiple countries who WERE dealing with it properly and NOT ignoring it and they didn't panic!

8. There is a huge gap between downplaying it to avoid mass hysteria
and totally discredit and reject any COVID reality.
Just like there is a huge gap between closing down for months and opening the economy or school as if COVID isn't happening. You could open when the spread rate is in an acceptable range and be flexible and close down again when rate spikes while having all of the preventive steps such as social distancing and wearing mask. |

9. Yes, and as a caring, thinking, and empathetic human being you realize the distinction.

And, they'll cheer. |

14. Not to mention stealing PPE and tests from the states...
And the national stockpile. The obstruct goes beyond that but these facts seem to fall by the wayside a lot.

7. I'm sure my brother will take comfort in that explanation, remembering how he fought to breathe
He was lucky - his symptoms never reached catastrophic levels, but he was as sick as he's ever been, in his life, for a good 3 weeks.
