WH Coronavirus Task Force Report (Open Access)

https://datastudio.google.com/u/0/reporting/969948c4-3c2b-46fb-a678-b021c0123e94/page/BUkaB?s=mUNw0qAuWQs

The purpose of this report is to empower the general public with the information that is included in official White House Coronavirus Task Force (WHCTF) reports, which are distributed to state government officials on a weekly basis. Our objective is to contribute to a shared understanding of the COVID-19 pandemic by increasing data transparency for all.

This report includes interactive versions of the charts and tables in the official WHCTF reports. Over the coming days and weeks, we will include additional (custom) data visualizations.

NOTE: This report is not commissioned, sanctioned, or endorsed by the U.S. Government. This report lacks formal policy recommendations, which is a departure from the official report.

We only rely on authoritative and trusted data sources. Authoritative data sources include the U.S. Census, HHS, CDC, CMS, and public health departments. Trusted data sources are limited to USAFacts, COVID Tracking Project, Johns Hopkins CSSE, and our own GISCorps/Coders Against COVID testing location dataset. These were chosen because they are used by federal, state, and/or local agencies in official COVID-19 response activities.
