The sky is blood orange.

I've never seen anything like this outside of a movie or comic book panel, but the sky is blood orange and it's nearly pitch black at ground level. It's almost as if I've moved to Hell.

Stay safe, wear a respirator (n95 or kn95) if you have one, indoors too as much as you can tolerate if the air quality is in question. So sorry you're going through this.

Or is the SF in your name for San Fransisco. I know it wouldn't be Santa Fe as we are currently overcast (got a bit of snow overnight) but otherwise clear air.

...Lake County north of Napa County. This must be what it looks like in hell.

5 straight years of hellish fires and now this Martian daylight.

It's dark here on the peninsula! The smoke is very high, though, and the actual air quality at ground level is better than it has been in a couple of weeks. It doesn't smell smoky, but it is still eerie
