There are millions of Americans who maybe don't pay attention to politics that much, but think that what the President says is probably true about something like this.

This was life or death, he gave people information that ensured they'd pick death.

I don't have a single friend who thought it was "just the flu", all the info was out there for any thinking person to find, and any thinking person also knew instinctually that trump was lying about it.
And we've all done everything we could.
