WH officials warned Trump that talking to Bob Woodward was a bad idea, we are told. But Trump went forward with the hours of interviews anyway. A source, who has direct knowledge of discussions, said Trump and Kushner thought Woodward interviews were a good idea.

Aides to the president "had concerns and voiced them repeatedly," the source said

A separate source familiar with the situation pushed back on any notion that Kushner signed off on the interviews. The source said Kushner viewed Woodward with caution. Kushner ultimately spoke to Woodward to “infuse some honesty into the book,” the source said.

That's surprises me a little. But then they are equally arrogant and stupid. A very bad combination.

8. I think the 'second source' tweet makes more sense regarding Kushner.

Especially the part where Kushner attempted to “infuse some honesty into the book.”

Brace yourselves for what Barr and the DOJ is going to do to interfere with the election along side of putin's intel services, whatever they are called, I call them KGB

9. Kushner wanted to "infuse" some honesty into the book.

Huh?

Does that mean Kushner assumed that his father-in-law would tell nothing but lies and that his voice (Jared’s) would be required in order to “infuse” some truth?

That’s one of the lamest defenses I have ever heard.

And now he's backtracking because he always chooses the wrong path, and then pretends he didn't.
