There is a slight decoding process that takes a millisecond in the brain, but that process also reduces the impact of the word and provides cover for the person using it. While the N-word is off limits to non-AA people, he professed that AA people should use the word in its raw form when calling out an abuser of it, without masking, to convey the full impact and harshness of the word to drive its impact to the reader.

One of the reasons why pussies and fucking are shocking to see written out, is that, we are conditioned now not to see them in our provincial society, and now when we do see the words written out--it's shocking and has impact. MSNBC's act of using the words drives that impact home and shows the coarseness of this president.

19. I learned to cuss playing football in high school.

You can't hear it in the stands, but there is a ton of "cussin" going on in a football game. Got way worse after being drafted into the US Army. When I sent letters home to my parents, I would sometime end them with FTA or FTW. They stood for Fuck The Army and Fuck The War. When mother asked my dad what that meant he said "You don't wanna' know".
