Woodward defends decision to withhold trump's virus comments
"If I had done the story at that time about what he knew in February, that's not telling us anything we didn't know," Woodward said.
Uh ...
I'm speechless. Okay, I'm hardly on an equal footing as a (retired) reporter with somebody like Bob Woodward. But FOR PETE'S SAKE!

We didn't know the extent of the damage COVID-19 could do. NOBODY did. Not the best doctors, researchers, hospital staffers, first responders, NOBODY. All we knew was this orange jackass telling us it was a HOAX, it was 15 cases that were gonna shrink down to zero, that it would just go away like a miracle, just like that! By April the numbers were gonna drop. It'll just disappear. Like magic. It's cool! What, me worry?
And WAY too many people by early this year were thoroughly conditioned to cling to, and even bet their lives upon, every goldtone-painted word out of Der Orange Fuhrer's mouth as though it were taken straight from one of the Gospels.

Hell, even Dr. Fauci got a few things wrong, way back then, when this was just beginning to take hold (FEBRUARY, and even into MARCH). WHEN WE DID NOT KNOW THAT MUCH ABOUT THE VIRUS YET. And he's already admitted that.
