An unsung freshman IL rep has been KICKING ASS for the last two years:

An under-told story of the past two years is the absolute superstardom of Representative Lauren Underwood. Her fellow freshmen get a lot of coverage that would be better spent on Ms. Underwood’s hard work. Three bills signed into law with a hostile Senate and Executive!

More workhorse than show pony, she deserves more attention, and a few bucks for her re-election if you are so inclined.

Especially on health issues.
Definitely a rising star: a work horse, not a show horse.
She beat the incumbent Republican in her district.
