and have been skyrocketing for the past few weeks. Deaths aren't up but new cases are soaring.

Anyone who gets infected, even if completely asymptomatic, might still have a lifetime of chronic illness. They're seeing that already with systemic inflammation, myocarditis, brain impairment, etc., long after "recovery."
