Most workers that live in the suburbs don’t agree with it. I’m not even sure management agrees. Also, they will not be fully back in the office. It’s a rotational (hybrid) schedule.

They seriously think people are lazy and would skip work if they work from home. I've been working from home since 2010 and they still try to have "matrix" to track our progress for each day. In reality, I tend to work longer hours because I make myself more available for client calls or calls to people I manage simply because I work from home and don't have official "office hours" along with time difference when we all live around the US.

Don't underestimate how some upper management think everyone below them are "inefficient" and "lazy".

Office buildings and would be hurt if businesses needed to rent less office space? And who do we know benefits when businesses do need to rent more office space...

There's an ugly old fat guy hanging around the White House who calls himself a "builder" and seems to like (not) paying people with construction skills to build hotels and walls and stuff for him. Maybe...
