Anyone who can watch Trump's recent rally speeches without feeling embarrassment and then

outrage is likely beyond hope: they will never again be entitled to the merest shred of respect---none, nada, zero.

Anyone who actually cheers and applauds---or even silently condones---this flailing insanity deserves an old-fashioned punishment: they should be shunned. No violence. No verbal harangues or criticisms. Just consistently let them know they are dead to us; they no longer merit either outrage or attention.

And, to those whose reaction to the above is "some of them weren't do bad" I say your "forgive and forget" attitude will be interpreted as weakness and future Trumps will smilingly recall one of Jim Carrey's best lines---"So you sayin' I've got a chance!"
