court - successfully - that they are not a news organization, rather they are an entertainment organization.

There should be a requirement that that is posted prominently on their "news" programs.

Some kind of criteria for when a news program can call itself a news program. Criteria that says there must be some balance and some truth.

any time, any "news outlet" is going into editorial mode, there must be a chyron that states, this is editorial content, not news. So Tucker, you get a chyron, same to you Rachel (love you but, its editorial). I do not wish to see the end of such shows, I just want people to understand the difference between the two. One news, verified, facts. Two editorial, (mostly) based on current news, with the presenters opinion and conclusions about the news.

Just as a newspaper has the oped section, with the word opinion all over it, so should our "news shows". Opinion can be right, but it is still opinion.

Run ads to pay for production and anchor/crew/research and take the cash.
Pay said peeps whatever you need to in order to stay competitive
Anything left CANNOT go into the profit accounts of the parent company, it must be donated to approved charities or journalism schools.
If this is done, you can call it news. EVERYTHING ELSE MUST BE called for profit entertainment at the beginning and end of every segment.

If THIS is not done, a three strikes your out rule applies:
Strike 1, you pay a fine equalivant to last years TOTAL PROFIT
Strike 2, you pay a fine equalivant to 5 times that amount.
Strike 3, you get your license yanked and your exec producer AND anchor are not allowed to work in their field for 10 years.

Rush Limbaugh and Tucker Carlson will be off the air in 6 months, tops.
