In the highly competitive world of high tech, how come nobody has ever challenged Mini Mike Bloomberg and his very average, & supposedly outdated, “stuff” that he sells to so many? Did he use his position as Mayor of New York to create what is now a monopoly? Just askin’?

... Finance folks are addicted to their Bloomberg Terminals and the subscription service. The service is insanely expensive, but Bloomberg has cornered a market that's almost impossible to disrupt at this point. There is no incentive for anyone else to try to create a better product, because Bloomberg adoption is ubiquitous... Kinda like how it would be impossible to offer a newer better FaceBook-like service now.
