Proud of this North Dakotan Gay Woman!

I think this got lost in the shuffle of the other big news this week. Check the video on that site, too (included below)!

Minot city councilwoman unloads on anti-gay citizen: 'I'm not paying any heed to your crap'

MINOT, N.D. -- Recently, the city of Minot raised a rainbow flag at city hall to honor our LGBTQ community.

Pride month is in June, and usually, this sort of thing would take place then, but due to the pandemic, things got delayed, so it happened in September.

Unfortunately, raising the flag ticked off a lot of citizens, and they showed up at a recent meeting of the city council to express their ire.

At one point, one of the complainers called out recently elected councilwoman Carrie Evans for looking as if she wasn't enjoying the gripe session.

This elicited a volcanic response from Evans, including a disclosure that she's a gay woman herself, something which wasn't previously known to the public.
