My Biden campaign report card
I will preface this by saying I am a realist and am not afraid to sound the alarm if something is going sideways. Sugar coating I don’t do. Has Biden run a perfect campaign? No. Has he wildly exceeded my expectations based on his performance in the primaries and the challenges of a pandemic? Absolutely. I am very pleased with how things have shaped up. So I give him an A- thus far. We have neutralized the law and order issue and the cognitive decline issue pretty well. The more Trump does the sleepy joe routine the more he lowers expectations for the debates. We have one area we need to focus on, the Latino/Hispanic vote. There is a lot of cultural stuff going on that I don’t entirely grasp because it is not my scene, but long story short, they are blitzing Latino voters with right wing misinformation and these voters digest media in unique ways. These voters are susceptible to this because they just don’t have familiarity with the history of politics in the USA, at least that is the sense I am getting. Biden is aware of this and Bloomberg is dropping $100M on Florida. We need to understand this right wing media blitz and counter attack in a massive but strategic targeted way that really penetrates the media platform these voters actually use. So this is the weak spot and where we need to focus. Biden heads to Florida this week. Saturate Florida. Let’s go all in and win it. We can do it but we have some work to do. We win Florida this election is heading for a landslide Biden victory
