75 of 123 Texas Tech Football Players have Already Tested Positive for Covid

this is simply negligence-outrageous and it raises the liklihood that these coaches are attempting to secure herd immunity prior to the Big 12 season for competitive advantage. Note that a school is only allowed 85 scholarships so about 38 of these players are walkons. What is worse is that at no time did the university suspend practices as several schools have done to reduce covid. If I was a parent I'd be yanking my kid out that school immediately because they obvious don't give a damn about their student athletes. I believe this may not be uncommon. I suspect that based upon prior reports schools like Clemson and Alabama may have similiar numbers

Note even with these high numbers they went ahead and played Houston Baptist in their season opener and almost lost what would have been their worst loss in school history

They don't give a damn

Their last out-right conference championship was in 1956. “Strive for Honor” though. “Fearless Champions”, too.

9. There's been some doozies for sure over the years. Losing to HBU would have ranked right up there.

With :17 left Tech appears to tie the undefeated No. 2 team in the Country. I actually was attending Tech Law School at the time. They call it the Miracle on 4th Street
