Me too. Not just Rachel. All of it. This is more nuts than I ever thought it would be and we’ve not seen anything yet.

In other news, I thought of you tonight c4p, I was following one of my chickens, Pip, around the backyard in the hope that she would lead me to where she laid her green egg. Pip’s nickname is “Random” because she lays her eggs in the most random places. I sipped my wine and walked around with Pip and she finally led me to her egg. It was in back of the hot tub where she likes to hide on chilly mornings. I too get my endorphins where I can find them. From one chicken mama to another. Cheers. 🐓

I was happy to see our "teenager" chicks out in their run today and doing teenager things - exploring, pushing boundaries, overreacting.

We were handling covid ok, living out here in the country. But with the onset of hazardous air in the past few days...we can't be in our favorite place, our sacred space, outdoors

Hard on the heart. I gotta believe there will be clear skies again before too long. ❤
