6. Barr was just a washed up, hack lawyer wasting away at some firm.

He would have never been anybody's AG except for Trump's.

This is laying down groundwork. For a steal if they can manage it, for sewing chaos and delegitimizing the incoming administration if they can't. And above all, motivating the cultists to turn out.

He'd see how ridiculous his notions are compared to the reality of the care every precinct I've observed takes to ensure a fair election.

I've directly observed in both Democratic and Republican counties in my state, and have had extensive communications with people in charge of elections in at least 20 other states and/or large cities.

7. Omfg did he just accuse US of PROJECTION?!?!

He sure as fuck did. What a goddamn snake. I mean, it was bound to happen, but we've finally now, reached the point of Republican meta-projection:

Republicans accusing US of projecting their own sins, BACK into them smdh.

William Barr is dangerous as fuck..

8. Barr says, "We don't know where these freaking votes came from"? Really!

I thought every mail-in ballot had a name, address, and signature?

He seems to be saying that someone in your family might influence how you might vote, then it is not a secret ballot? Does that mean he does not have a secret ballot, because of the way he is influenced by Donald Trump?

10. Barr is as ignorant as he is dishonest.

The purpose of a secret ballot is to prevent undue influence while voting – not prevent elections officials from knowing whom one voted for.

12. Kass may have accidentally committed journalism

For a change. And unwittingly.

He just showed what a colossal fraud Barr is.

Can’t stand Kass (or Barr). Have a college friend in Chicago burbs - an EXTREME Reich-winger - who LOVES his shit. Sends his columns to me often. I don’t accept shit like that and get right back in his face with Kass’ BS. All I get back is, “Yeah, well, but Obama/Democrats...” both sides/not answering me.

But thanks for posting this. He sends me the link to the C Trib, but I often can’t read it because of the paywall.

Why is the Attorney General suggesting ways to commit crimes like paying off the postman with a few hundred bucks? That seems like petty crime compared to buying the entire Post Office by installing a high dollar donor as a puppet Postmaster General.

15. I haven't gone "behind a curtain" to vote in years.

Maybe they still have the old-style booths with curtains in other states. They also check you in via iPad now, not those clunky old "signature books".

16. No Curtain Here Either

A little foldable stand with side panels so one can't see the next person's ballot. As long as one is leaning in, voting.
No curtain, no real privacy.
But, it's not like there are people hovering around snooping on other voters.
He's an idiot, and a poor liar.
He knows his lying, and he can't even make it sound like he's not.

17. "So now we're back in the business of selling and buying votes."
Tue Sep 15, 2020, 06:35 PM

That projection says a lot right there:

Implying that they were once doing that.

Implying that they are going to start again.

Buying and selling suggests they are on both ends of an operation involving exchanging money from illegal activity.

There's probably more. I'd just say to Mr. Bill: keep me out of your "we're" and continue your blabbing.

I have never voted in person here, but it's very secure system. Nobody can harass you at the polls if you vote by mail.
