People, I think, are afraid to be public about who they're voting for. Maybe not afraid so much as just not in the mood for the hassles that might come their way as a result. Out here (suburban/rural) there's one asshole who always puts up a billboard size right wing sign that is visible from I-70. Last cycle it was Hillary for Prison. This year, nothing. no sign. Back at our old house (suburban), which is still my office, there were both D and R signs every election. All by generally good natured people who would never bother a neighbor's sign no matter who it was for. This year, as elsewhere, nothing.
We have been Zooming with friends and family a lot. As it comes up (and it almost always gets to Trump at some point) no one is showing any signs.
We have had one sign in our yard for several years, but that's it. Nothing overtly political. Here's the sign:

(115,683 posts)It's plastered with Black Lives Matter and Biden/Harris lawn signs. There are a lot of signs like yours, too.
