Trump: 'If you take blue states out we're at a level I don't think anybody in the world would be at'

The American Independent @AmerIndependent 4h
Praising his own virus response as deaths near 200,000, Trump says, "if you take the blue states out, we're at a level I don't think anybody in the world would be at."

What was the red states president's material response to the outbreaks of infection in 'blue states?' We know the answer. He abandoned them, just as he's abandoning ALL states today.

Trump is an enemy to the majority of our population, most of whom live in cities, many of them Democratic majority states. He just told us so in the starkest of terms, all but condemning residents of those states to the consequences of his inaction and perpetuation of this pandemic. He might as well be Putin, himself.

That's what a crazy koolaid-drinking cultist of the orange anus said on video at his rally in Arizona.

That's the new Republican slogan: IF I DIE, I DIE

Solid cities are much more likely to have mask compliance, and good medical care promptly if worse comes to worst, than are the rural towns.

And still maybe 75% mask compliance, school sports as usual, parties, no restrictions in bars and restaurants.

Oh, and Trump signs. Lots and lots of Trump signs, many of them obscene.

...he doesn't even serve residents of those states.

Can you imagine the reaction if Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton separated out red states in their assessments of the virus? It's already a meme that red states are somehow ignored, when in reality most get more than they put in from the federal govt.

What is the point of this, dare I say "intellectual" exercise? If you take out the Marines, less people died in World War II. Thing is, they still died. He is only capable of thinking of the numbers, not the humans they represent. This is the man that the entire Republican Party made their "platform". The chair of the RNC was asked about the high death rate in the US. She replied in the trumpian, "we do more testing", as if less people would have died if they hadn't been tested.

Two things are going on. Thing one is that Trump bungled the virus response and seeks to fudge the numbers to paint a picture of a fantasy world where he wasn't a terrible president. Thing two is that more than 60 million voters are eating it up despite all the twisted logic. Colbert did a segment tonight with Triumph the Insult Comic Dog doing a fake focus group with real Trump supporters. They did some fake ads making Trump more extreme than he has been, but NOTHING crosses a line with them, best two out of three elections, child labor since kids are "immune" and so on.

Please vote.

The only trouble is that the United Blue States of America would need a wall to keep out people from the Republican states. Once the people in the Red States of America realized what they had done to themselves, they'd be storming the border to get into the Blues states in such numbers as to make immigrants from Latin America seem like an anemic trickle.
