The Head of the CDC said the vaccine will not be available to the general public

until 2021.

This is nothing else to be said. Fuck the lying Con. He is killing people.
Vote him out and lock him up! Lock up all the enablers.

This partisan asshole wants to dismiss deaths in states that voted for the Democratic Party.
There's the real treason and sedition.

Fuck this fucking fuck!

1. Yeah middle of 2021 would be optimistic and that assumes the trials go well (which they might not)

Phase 3 trials usually last YEARS. This is unprecedented and obviously we won't wait years but they need at least six months and the trials for most of the candidates didn't begin until September. That puts you at maybe having preliminary data to review in March of 2021.

If the trial doesn't last at least six months we don't even know that any immunity will last long enough to materially bring down numbers. From a logistical standpoint even if immunity that fades can be restored periodically we need it to last at least six months preferably a year or more.

4. I know, but even the so-called distribution plan they released yesterday mentions the double doses

5. That's exactly what the docs & nurses have said to me. I've been discussing this for the last week,

and when there is finally a vaccine approved, it will first go to the front line people like emt's, docs & nurses, hospital workers, etc, then to the people in danger of serious illness/death like seniors etc. only then begin to inoculate the public. The fools who think once a vaccine is approved they're home free are just not thinking!
