My friend in London asked me if we have Bubbles.

Apparently during their first round of the epidemic they had to stay isolated for two months and then were allowed a friend who was called a Bubble, and then still had to stay 2 m apart. They could add up to six Bubbles. They got the virus down that way. But now, suddenly, it’s back, and they will probably have to go back to the same regimen.

Our only Bubbles are the bubble heads who never wear masks and don’t believe in safety.

We are so screwed.

Apparently they work, if the participants are careful.

and still the virus returned.

And we take no care at all. So it stands to reason that our numbers will multiply.

And my sweet friend in California, they now say that the masks for people in fire regions won’t be effective with cloth or paper masks.

I hope that Joe has planned for all of these contingencies.
And most importantly that he will be elected.

6. Who says masks aren't effective in fire regions? What's the mechanism?

On the face of it, sounds unreasonable to me. What's your source of info on this? I'm very curious.

But because of the smoke and Covid combined, these folks should have the special masks that are made for these conditions. He said that ideally they should be made for each face specifically, a pipe dream in Trump land.

10. Ooh, he was talking about masks to prevent smoke inhalation, not COViD spread prevention.

Different deal entirely.

Yes, even in Seattle/Tacoma area we got a lot of smoke, and your typical cloth or surgicial mask is not good enough based on the smell that comes thru the mask. I don't have one but apparently you need an N95 or better. It has been a week of staring out the window at yellow skies and foul air. And, what we got is nothing compared to CA and OR. I have great sympathy for those folks, especially the ones losing homes and liveliehoods.

Thanks!

I went 3 months with not being with my son and his family but now we can be together and have a bubble of a few others. Everyone else we wear masks and distance.

Melbourne city is still in extreme restrictions, but regional areas have 'bubbles' of five or six others.

Limited select groupings of a few people.

In fairness, nearly a quarter million are dead, so that may not be the best plan.
