Can this happen if the Dems win it all? How would it work?

(22,458 posts)IMO, SCOTUS should be expanded to 15 seats. Biden should fill them all with progressives under 55.
It will be worth the political fallout, if Biden and congress act quickly on healthcare, voting rights, jobs, minimum wage. They will only have a year before midterm jitters start evaporating congressional backbones.

(48,867 posts)When the court was created there were not a lot of educated people so a lifetime appointment made sense. We don't have that problem any more. Give them a 4 or 8 year term.

(1,847 posts)Adding 4 seats and hope none of our replacements are wolves in sheep's clothes. It's our only hope. We'll never be able to impeach the bozos that Trumpf installed - you need 2/3 of the Senate to remove. Damn, what an awful day in a terrible year that could lead to a miserable lifetime of continued con rule. Blech.
RIP, RBG. You'll be eternally missed.
