There is an insatiable appetite for hypocrisy in the modern Rep Party, as it fights on behalf of a collapsing "white male" power paradigm.

When power for power's sake is your governing philosophy, there are virtually no limits to what you can & will do to build and maintain it

1. But that's not hypocrisy. It's selfishness.

Hypocrisy is when you believe in certain principles but can't necessarily stick by them when they affect you. It requires a sense of shame.

The only republican principle is selfishness and any other "principle" they talk about is completely disingenuous b.s. designed to make democrats think they're reasonable people.

It's not hypocrisy for them not to fall for their own con.
