It took me like 10 years before I got my green card to immigrate to the US. And it vastly depends on your age, your profession, how much money you have.

Luckily for me, I have dual citizenship but I call US home and I am not ready to leave yet.

Because other countries see people like me as a burden. They say to the poor and disabled no citizenship for you.. you're undesirable.
And that kind of bigoted shit pisses me off. I don't want to die because this country is dumb enough to vote in a sociopathic Fascist pig and his morally bankrupt enablers.

If trump gets 4 years and it's full on fascism, I can't live in that shit, I might as well die because once disability is gone, I will die won't be able to buy the meds that keep me alive..

Your situation is the same as mine. I would like to go back to Germany but as you know being poor, disabled, and have no skills to offer I am screwed.

Talk to friends and family. Convince them to vote for Biden.

4 in Mexico (Mexico City)
8 in Italy (a year in Firenze, 7 years in Venezia)

The rest of the world does not live by the US Declaration of Independence and Constitution.
The places in the world whose language is a Romance language (Italian, French, Spanish, Romanian) don't have a word for "freedom," "Liberty" -- yes,but "freedom": no. Think about that for 5 minutes.

I suggest creating a world around you where you feel comfortable. I am a far-left leaning person living in a far-right rural part of Texas. I quite enjoy not being like the rest of my neighbors. Make life a wonderful experience everyday and try to limit your time on social media. It is a psychological hindrance to a happy life.

It's funny how Americans think they can just go somewhere else and be accepted. Why the fuck would any other country want a bunch of fucking Americans showing up? We're an international menace and embarrassment.

If correct protocols would have been followed as recommended by WHO as the disease spread, the pandemic would have been under control.
Then you could safely think of an escape plan.
At the minimum, currently, its just not safe to relocate. most escape routes are full of roadblocks. The State Department is full of advisories, alerts and warnings at level stage 3 and 4 for most countries.
shelter in place, if you can. At least you know procedures here.
Worldwide, everything is changing and we don't know yet what the outcome of all this will be.
