Everything hinges on Democrats taking back the Senate.

They simply cannot let Mitch McConnell control the Senate with the present filibuster rule the way he did under Obama. He stopped all of Obama's judgeship nominations. Until Senator Reed made the decision to do away with the filibuster for appeals court judges. That gave McConnell the justification to lift the filibuster on Supreme Court nominations also.

If Donald Trump remains in the White House, the Democrats must hold him accountable. If they have to impeach him again to get witnesses to testify, then so be it. Democrats must not sweep the crimes of Donald Trump under the rug. They must find the answers. They can only do that if they control the Senate.

Finally, if the Republicans ram through another SC Justice, we need a Democratic Senate to correct the politicalzation of the Court. They need to be prepared to expand the Court if necessary.

None of this can happen if they do not win the Senate, even if Joe Biden is elected the next President.
