And they know there are many more of us.
When we unite, we are an unbeatable force of good.
They should be very afraid.

Remember,he was Senior Staffer on the the Tax Writing Committee and Staffers make Congress happen, despite what most think.

He appears to be in contact with these same Staffers on a on going basis. Occasional Stories pop about the Senate Staffers following his Program on a daily basis.

as he has a few vulnerable senators in his conference facing tight races—Arizona, Colorado, Maine and North Carolina—who don't want to be put in the position of voting to replace RBG shortly before the election when they didn't vote to replace Scalia long before the election. McConnell might go through the motions and seem enthusiastic for a vote while quietly signalling to Collins et al that it's ok to vote no as he doesn't want them to lose their seats, and his Majority Leadership along with it, and maybe even his own Senate seat.

By holding the vote he will have done his duty to trump, who he probably thinks will lose anyway, and live to fight another day. He has no shame, he may want to wait until the lame duck session anyway and not have to rush things.

We'll see.

Mitch’s position after the Election is complicated by two things:

Mark Kelly of AZ., who will probably win his election, can be seated as early as Nov. 30.

The new Congress is seated on Jan.3, not Jan. 20.

These factors cut down the margin of his majority and also shorten the time to get someone seated.
