Empowering tweet from Pete Buttigieg this morning: We get to decide how 2020 ends...

Pete Buttigieg
@PeteButtigieg

Take everything you’ve been feeling last night and this morning, and let it be your propulsion.

2020 has served up one cruel blow after another—but we get to decide how it ends, and what comes next.

It’s up to us.

And it would be more doable, at least in the short term, than him getting elected to statewide office in Indiana.

I rather like Jay Inslee, though I knew he didn't have enough visibility to win the nomination.

Impresses me with his way of thinking. He seems like a genuinely good person.
We need more of that.

the game plan has been put out there loud and clear and looks like there is widespread support among electeds and the base

Add at least 2 more Justices
make Puerto Rico and DC states
add more appellate and circuit court judges

Finally. At long last. Enough is enough.

But there can still be good things about it. The up coming election is an opportunity for positive change. Many people refer this as the year from hell. To me this is a special year because my son graduated high school, started college, and will be voting for the first time. I also had a nephew born this year. It's not all bad.

"bitching" as you put it.

Glad it's been good for you in so many ways. It's been really bad for a lot of us, though. I won't go into detail.

that he is not.

We have to win by such overwhelming numbers (both electoral and popular) that there is absolutely NO doubt. We also must take the Senate back.

I'm thinking there will be - for weeks - 2 declared winners to the election. Trump will declare himself the winner and rely on Barr to make it happen in the courts. Polling, election returns, networks will declare Biden the actual winner. How this plays out ... anyone's guess.
