And I'm betting they're in crunch-time mode right now making new attack ads to torment Lindsey Graham, Cory Gardner, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, etc...
UPDATE!!!! There's a new ad!

(16,352 posts)I had no doubts. Ive enjoyed shutting down the bad, moronic and uninformed hot takes about the LP in the last 24 hours.

(32,620 posts)We need to hear from Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer. All the Party leaders need to put out statements immediately. The Lincoln Project does NOT speak for us.

(90,632 posts)Mme Speaker will be at church tomorrow, but Senator Schumer is at prayer off and on all this coming week, from Rosh Ha Shana to Yom Kippur.

(26,355 posts)Of course, being elected officials, they have to show decorum, but Pelosi is implying she could set up a second impeachment to throw a monkey-wrench into Mitch's plans.

(32,620 posts)... I saw that Schumer had tweeted something similar, and it was aimed directly at the Senate Repukes & Moscow Mitch.

(4,673 posts)Lincoln Project is doing. Love their ads, but where are they shown, apart from Twitter? They're witty and smart, but how do they reach folks except their own followers?

(34,135 posts)I don't watch much commercial TV so I don't know if they are running ads anywhere.

(37,158 posts)...just to deliver them to an audience of one: the White House's resident howler monkey.
Which then results in Trump insisting his campaign do things (which translates into "spend money" in places where it really won't do any good. For him, that is.

(26,355 posts)They just released a new ad.
Aside from that, they're targeting the contested states. If you're living in a state's that's safe-red or safe-blue, you're probably not going to see their ads, except on cable news, or if you're following the viral bread crumbs on the Internet.
They're focusing their efforts on battleground states, and they're doing psy-ops against Trump in DC.

(4,189 posts)preaching to the choir in both places I guess tho.

(45,411 posts)They air in swing states plus DC area Fox News for Trump to watch.
Online is mostly preaching to the choir in the hopes their fans will share it on social media. That should hopefully reach some GOP voters.

(34,045 posts)"Graham opponent says he raised $1M in a day after poll showed tied race
"South Carolina Democratic Senate candidate Jaime Harrison announced Thursday that he raised $1 million within a day after a poll found him tied with incumbent Sen. Lindsey Graham (R).
Y'all, I am speechless. We have raised over $1 MILLION in the last 24 hours, Harrison tweeted.
This campaign is powered by you. It is funded by you. It is inspired by you. Together, we are going to make history in 47 days. We are going to beat @LindseyGrahamSC, Harrison added.
A Quinnipiac University survey released Wednesday found Graham and Harrison garnering 48 percent support each among likely voters in South Carolina.
Graham has won reelection by double-digit margins since he was first elected in 2002, but Harrison has emerged as a formidable challenger, raising millions for his campaign in the state President Trump carried by more than 14 points in 2016. The Cook Political Report rates the race as lean Republican."

(36,446 posts)They will ram through a judge, who cares about protocol or words spoken previously? They are this close to one party rule & they are going to pull out all the stops to keep it.
This has been the last straw for me. I refuse to have anything to do with those I know who still associate with this party. Up until now I've avoided them but been polite when forced to interact with them, but now? They can all just fuck the fuck off. ~insert flip-the-bird smilie here.
